A Chinese company is buying copper from a plant in a russian-occupied region of Ukraine, reuters.com reported.

russian customs data shows evidence of Chinese trades with russian-occupied regions of Ukraine since the full-scale invasion in 2022.

China’s company Quzhou Nova bought at least 3,220 tons of copper alloy in ingots worth about USD 7.4m from the Debaltsevsky Plant of Metallurgical Engineering, according to the data. The plant is located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
