Mariupol: 35 air strikes on Azovstal in past 24 hours, civilians injured

In the past 24 hours, russian troops have carried out 35 air strikes on Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant, where civilians are hiding in the basements.

This has been informed by the Azov Regiment that is defending Mariupol on their Telegram channel.

“The Azovstal plant, where the defenders of Mariupol are located and where civilians are hiding in the basements from shelling, is under enemy fire. In the past 24 hours alone, 35 air strikes were carried out, during which one of the plant’s shops caught fire,” the statement says.

The photos and a video showing a wounded elderly woman being assisted by the military has been published by the Azov Regiment.

As known, russians have caused a major humanitarian catastrophe in Mariupol. The occupants are bombing unarmed residents and blocking humanitarian aid.
